The site is the former Perfecta Beds factory at the junction of Aldham
House Road and Barnsley Road, Wombwell.
The remediation has now been completed (with the exception of the
relocation of an existing sub station) leaving an engineered capping
layer suitable for foundation designs. Close liaison has taken place with
Woodford Environmental to ensure any “pinch points” are eliminated.
The site has the benefit of an outline planning permission.
The site area is approximately 4.05 acres providing a total dwelling area
85,050 sq ft.
Planning permission for 83 units has been granted.
